Getting the best out of Apple’s newest version of iOS
Since the new iOS 10 beta system has been released, I am certain that many iPhone users will be eager to try out Apple’s newest iOS system before its eventual release later on this fall.
There are several items that you must take into account before installing the public beta system. Please do not install the new system on the device you use most of the time as the iOS 10 operating system is still in the development stage. This newest version of iOS is still a work in progress by Apple and is working the best that it can be for the time being.
The system can be improved through the help of beta testers like you, so, if you want to download the iOS 10 system to try it out on a secondary device, read on and I will walk you through the process of downloading and installing the system on your device.
You can install the iOS 10 operating system on any of the following Apple products: Fourth generation iPad, the iPad Air and Air 2, iPad Pro and the iPad mini 2, 3, and 4, sixth generation iPad touch, the iPhone 5, 5c, and 5s, the iPhone SE, and the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, and 6s Plus.
Archiving the Contents of your Chosen Device
First, please make sure that your iOS compatible device is connected to your MacBook/PC and open up the iTunes program. You will need to find and click the iPhone symbol in the menu of your computer, then, find and select Back up Now. For added security, you may also choose to encrypt your backup and add a password.
You will then be prompted to backup your apps. It is important you complete this step. You then have to click on command to select and open up your Preferences. You can alternatively choose to click on iTunes in the menu of your device and click on Preferences. Either route you choose to take will end up getting you the same result.
