Disk images are used to create “files” out of CDs/DVDs, for archiving, or distributing over the Internet. Macs have long supported ISO images, and DMG images out of the box, but mounting BIN images had been more tricky. Now with Daemon Tools Lite, we have an simple, lightweight app for nearly every disk image format. The current version (as of July 2012) is in beta, and free to download and use. It’s very stable, and appears to be working without crashing. You can expect that the final release version will be sold for a small fee.
Requires: Mac OS X 10.6 or newer.
Supports: .b5t, *.b6t, *.bwt, *.ccd, *.cdi, *.bin/*.cue, *.ape/*.cue, *.flac/*.cue, *.iso, *.isz, *.mds/*.mdf, *.mdx, *.nrg, *.pdi
